We stayed at Maharani suite at Jaisalkot. The experience was amazing in terms of cleanliness, well mannered staff, lavish rooms, amenities and great food. It's a great getaway from a busy city life and will definitely make you feel closer to the nature (saw many beautiful peacocks roaming around the property during our morning walk). I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Jaisalmer to consider staying at Jaisalkot for a luxurious experience.

Incredible and fantastic stay for 7 days with family and a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding. Cannot say enough great things about the entire staff, from the chefs to the greeters, to all of the entire team for the whole stay- with our two kids running around- it was a lot and they made sure our every need was met! Will come again!

The hotel looks lovely from outside and seems to have been well made. But its not at all maintained well. We stayed here in the month of Nov 23.|And guess what, our room towels had blood stains on it. So, we asked them to change the towels. …

My wife and I had planned a Christmas getaway in 2023 from the UK and booked a three-night stay for £600 at Jaisalkot. Our booking was non-cancellable, but we were certain that we would be going to India for this wonderful experience. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away a week before our travel, and it was more important for us to attend the funeral than to go to Jaisalkot. Therefore, we could not go, and we requested the hotel to cancel our booking and provide a refund on compassionate grounds. We made this request through Agoda, but our cancellation was denied after two days. Then, we contacted the hotel directly and explained the whole situation, but we were again denied. At least they could have offered a partial refund or allowed us to book for another time, but they didn't. The manager told me that since it was the peak season, they could not provide a refund. But on second thought, I realized that tickets should sell easily during peak seasons, right? I will not recommend this place to anyone, and I now realize that it's best to stay at branded hotel chains where people are more compassionate.

The hotel looks lovely from outside and seems to have been well made. But its not at all maintained well. We stayed here in the month of Nov 23. And guess what, our room towels had blood stains on it. So, we asked them to change the towels. They changed the towels but this time around with lipstick stains. Just pathetic. Then one whole night, then where was hardcore electric/civil work happening just above our room. All this happening in the middle of the night. Food was just very ok. Just a very ordinary hotel with extra ordinary charges. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. There are way better hotels in Jaisalmer. This hotel raves about its location and it is indeed far away from the chaos of the city. But you would rather stay in the chaos of the city than in this hotel. And ya the last to mention about this hotels is its backyard. How dirty and filthy. Food was lying everywhere on the ground.
